Sfumato Art Gallery is thrilled to announce the launch of our second issue of Sfumato Art Magazine, set to publish this spring. After the overwhelming success of our debut issue, which featured 90 talented artists from around the globe, we are now taking this opportunity to create an even more exclusive and impactful publication.

​

For this issue, we are limiting the selection to only 40 artists, who will each receive 4 full pages dedicated to showcasing their artwork, including an exclusive interview conducted by our team. The competition will be intense, making this a unique opportunity to stand out and gain recognition in the art world. Additionally, this issue will be available for purchase on our website, further amplifying its reach and visibility.

Submission Details:

​

Eligibility: Open to all artists internationally, aged 18 or older, with no restrictions on medium or style. This is an open call with no specific theme, welcoming a diverse range of artworks.

​

• Accepted mediums include painting, drawing, photography, digital art, prints, fiber art, collage, mixed media, sculpture, ceramics, and installation art.

• You may submit 3 to 5 images of your work for consideration.

​

Entry Fee: There is no fee to enter. Artists selected for publication will pay a $35 USD publication fee.

​

Submission Deadline: March 25, 2024, at 12 AM EST.

​

Requirements:

​

1. High-quality images are essential for publication:​

   • Rename each image file to include your name, artwork title, medium, dimensions, and date.

   • Only submit cropped images showing the artwork itself (exceptions apply for sculpture or ceramics).

2. Images must be at least 300 DPI and 800 pixels wide minimum.

1. Artist bio and statement:

   • Both must be written in the third person and limited to 3,000 characters each.

2. Files must be no larger than 10 MB.

​

Important: Submissions that fail to meet these requirements will be declined.

• Artists featured in this issue will receive a complimentary hard copy of the magazine. For others interested, the magazine is available for purchase at just $15 USD via our website.

• Shipping costs are the responsibility of the artist. However, we may cover shipping costs for artists located nearby.
