"Metamorphosis" Art Competition 2025

 

Inspired by the theme of transformation and artistic evolution, "Metamorphosis" invites artists to explore change, growth, and rebirth through their work. Hosted by Sfumato, this art competition provides a platform for artists to showcase their creativity, gain recognition, and have their work permanently featured in our online store.

• Solo Exhibition Opportunity: Outstanding artists will be awarded a solo online exhibition on Sfumato. 

• Honorable Mentions: Artists will receive an official certificate.

• Exclusive Interviews: selected artists will be featured in an in-depth interview on Sfumato’s website.

• Virtual Exhibition: All selected artists will be showcased in the exhibition.

Exhibition Services & Benefits

Virtual Exhibition & Artist Profiles: Each selected artist will have a dedicated profile on the Sfumato website. Artwork will be permanently available in Sfumato’s online store for purchase.

Marketing & Promotion: Featured across Sfumato’s website, social media, and email campaigns. Dedicated posts highlighting selected artists and their works.

• We accept all 2D & 3D mediums, including painting, drawing, photography, digital, Graphic design, prints, fiber art, collage, mixed media, sculpture, ceramics, and installation art. 

​

• You can submit 2 to 5 images of your work.

​

Submission fee: $10

Deadline: March 22, 2025

Requirements:

​

• Please be sure to include high-quality images of your work, 300 DPI, a minimum of 800 pixels wide

• All images must be cropped to show only the artwork (unless sculpture or ceramics)

• Label each work in the following format: Your Name, Artwork Title, Medium, Dimensions, Date, Price

• Bio, 3000 characters max

• Artist Statement, 3000 characters max

• Files no larger than 10 MB
