Michel Jegerlehner is a multidisciplinary visual artist whose work spans illustration, photography, and tattoo artistry. In 1987, he established his own illustration and photo editing business, specializing in airbrushed visuals for major advertising campaigns—some of which earned prestigious awards. His collaboration with internationally renowned designer Marty Design led to the creation of a large-scale mural exhibited at the UPSA Training Center in Yverdon-les-Bains. Beyond illustration, Jegerlehner gained recognition as a tattoo artist, winning numerous awards at conventions and having his work featured in industry publications, including a book curated by fantasy artist Anne Stokes. These diverse artistic experiences refined his visual language, which now defines his contemporary painting practice. Influenced by everyday observations—architectural structures, light reflections, shadows, and contrasts—his work is characterized by a precise, graphic style with bold colors. Working primarily with acrylics and markers, he accentuates sharp contours and dynamic compositions, continuously exploring new techniques to evoke emotion through simplified yet impactful forms. Whether on canvas or through the lens of his camera, he captures the essence of modern aesthetics, where time seems to pause in the act of creation.
