Christine Bent
Christine Bent is a multidisciplinary abstract artist based in Queens, NY, whose work spans painting, collage, and wearable art. Founder of Christine Bent Studio and Youth Vision Gallery, she fosters a creative environment rooted in exploration and transformation. Her practice is a continuous cycle of creation and reinvention—paintings evolve into collages, and her Bent and Bold jewelry line translates visual art into wearable forms.
Through color, texture, and play, Bent explores themes of growth and change, celebrating the fluid nature of identity and the beauty of becoming something new.

My practice centers on transformation—creation, deconstruction, and renewal. Through painting, collage, and wearable art, I explore the fluid nature of change, allowing each piece to inform the next in an ongoing process of evolution. My collages incorporate cut-outs from earlier canvas works, giving past creations a renewed presence, while my hand-painted earrings bring art into motion and everyday life. Guided by curiosity and a playful spirit, I allow color, texture, and form to develop intuitively. This process reflects a journey of personal growth—how we shift, adapt, and continuously become. At its core, my work celebrates the beauty of transformation and the infinite potential of reinvention.
