Mummified began as a piece of clothing—a blouse bearing the image of a bird and a skirt adorned with roses and traditional motifs. Over time, the garment transcended its function as wearable attire, evolving into a sculptural form now integrated into the Large Red Tablecloth installation.

This work bears the imprints of forgotten women throughout history—a once-living garment transformed into a preserved, almost fossilized figure. Yet, it remains imbued with the essence of femininity. Mummified serves as a poetic vessel for memory, honoring the presence of those whose physical bodies have faded, but whose spirit endures through material and form.
