Jérôme "Trëz" Oudot
Jérôme Oudot, known by his pseudonym Trëz, is a visual artist based in the Paris region with a lifelong passion for pictorial creation. Drawn to art from an early age, he began studying traditional and digital creative tools as a teenager, a journey he continued through his higher education at the École Supérieure des Métiers Artistiques (ESMA) in the south of France. This background naturally led him to blend multiple techniques in his work, combining painting, drawing, and digital art.
Since his first exhibitions in 2009, Trëz has showcased his work extensively in France and internationally—including in the USA, Japan, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Belgium, and Spain—alongside artists he deeply admires. Today, his work has reached a professional level, and he dedicates himself fully to his creative practice.
Trëz’s work explores the complex interplay between matter and mind, constructing "body-structures"—chaotic, composite architectures where the organic and geometric collide and intertwine. His art delves deeply into humanity’s introspective journey, examining self-identity, the pursuit of knowledge, inherent contradictions, and connections with others, time, and the surrounding environment. This exploration is expressed through a rich blend of mediums, with layered material, fragmentations, and hybridizations, revealing what lies beneath the surface and beyond appearances.
